At the top of the list is Ben Winn (South Forsyth), who ran 4:15.46 back in February and remains the current state leader. James Daniel (Clarke Central) has been consistent, with a 4:22.47 in early March and an even stronger 4:18.10 just four days ago.
Starrs Mill continues to make noise as one of the state's deepest distance programs. Bankson Roach (4:19.82), Nate Pacetti (4:23.57), and Chase Griswold (4:26.24) all rank inside the top 35, and giving Starrs Mill three athletes under 4:30.
