Here is a Field Event Report from Day 1 of the Georgia Olympics
Mark Stein hit the jets with 300m left and held on down the homestretch winning the A Private 1600m.
Everett Smulders leaped for joy at the finish line after taking the 2A Boys 1600.
Sam Ellis of Decatur defended his 3A 1600m crown behind his 800m speed.
