I really wish we had more data to gon with A Public Cross Country, but this seems to happen every season since A was split up into Public and Private. Its pretty obvious the toughest area is Area 4 as judged by the races held at Athens Academy ( a real XC course) all season and last Thursday. As for the other Areas...no results have been turned in and I don't have much faith in some of the courses being legit that Area 1,2,3 competed on.
Its actually extremely close in 1A Public with the top 5 Team Rankings. Looking at the Team Rankings page will spell that out, but some course variances came into play and some head to head competiton at Athens Academy meet 9-3 and George Walton 9-10.

There are 4 schools with a legit shot at becoming team champs including Gordon Lee, Commerce and Georgia Military Prep (GMAC) who have squared off the past 2 weekends and feisty Marion County of Area 1. On a Power ranking calculated a few minutes ago, Gordon Lee and Commerce are in a dead heat.
