In an effort to 'catch up' for not publishing a MS 'Runner of the Week' we are going to select Co-Runners of the Week for the past 2 weeks of competition to try avoiding overlooking anyone deserving of the honor. Athletes in BOLD print are Ga.MileSplit's selections, with MS State looming only 9 days away ending Georgia's MS season. However, their will be the USATF GA Youth/Midget races as well as AAU and don't forget Foot Locker South's 3000 Meter race which is always a great way to end a season of racing. Pictured above (I believe) is Caroline Patterson from 'Great Strides' as she won 2 races less than 48 hrs apart to earn Co-MS Girls 'Runner of the Week' with Tift Middle's Emily Golden.

South Forsyth's girls were too deep and fast for the field winning the Varsity Girls team title led by Savannah Carnahan.
Released are the Middle School Girls 'Fast 50' thru 9-13..With Middle Schoolers running so many different length courses (2 Mile, 3200, 3000) its hard to gauge who the fastest MS Girls are, so I am including a 'Fast 50' for each distance in this version week ending 9-13. Let's keep in mind its been confirmed that NEGA and Fall Run Away 3000's were both a little short...and Lee County Invite has been noted as short or extremely fast (Photo by Dan McCauley)
