Coach
Coaches,
I will be sending out the schedule soon for the Annual Georgia Track and Field Clinic at Wesleyan. We will be hope to have an information meeting at the clinic, those in attendance for the clinic will be to attend the only face to face mandatory Track Rules Clinic on Saturday, and hear a number of good speakers.
Jim Ryun,Olympian and Legend, Billy White Shoes Johnson will be doing a sprint session geared towards track and football, Brady Sigler will be doing three sessions (Jumps, hurdles, and Sprints), Ralph White (Collegiate coach who has coached many Olympians, James Tigue (Parkview)and Andy Christie (Mill Creek) will be doing sessions in cross country training and the distance events, Amy Eubanks (Westminster), and others will be speaking at the clinic. We will have a session by the assistant coach at Emory speaking on nutrition, and have an excellent crew for the throws and pole vault.
The fee will be $40.00 and is a one day clinic and includes lunch. We hope that you will be able to attend. Jim Ryun will be speaking at the Marriott on Friday, Jan. 13 unless we can find a school on the 13th that Jim Ryun can speak at that night. I feel we have a great group of speakers and will put together a tentative schedule for the clinic soon.
