Jaylin Battle had a big win and a big PR in the 100m final at the middle school state meet, but where does he rank on the most improved list?

Most Improved is my favorite category for athletes. I love seeing just how much athletes improve from year to year. There's no greater satisfaction in this sport than watching athletes work hard and see the dividends of their hard work. So each week we will take a look at one discipline of the sport and look at the most improved athletes in those events.

This week we're looking at the middle school athletes. This article is focused on the middle school track events and earlier today we saw the MOST IMPROVED middle school field events. Note that in order to make this list you had to be in the top 500 in your event both seasons. Performances are compared to their best performance from the 2023 outdoor season.
