I'm definitely a track and field history nerd. Historic performances are important to know for multiple reasons. We all love chasing our own personal bests, but these lists help athletes chase down all time bests. What's really fun about these lists is looking at some of the names that went on to become high school superstars. At this point in time, these lists are pretty elite in almost all events. And if you can crack your way onto one of these lists, then you'll have a pretty good chance of becoming a star in high school and beyond.
