2010 State Quarterfinals Proposal from the Coaches Association
Coaches, from: Coach Jerry Arnold The proposal outlines the major ideas about how this could be accomplished without making any major changes to either of the State Meets (Jefferson and Albany). We feel this represents the best possible chance to be approved by the track and field committee at the GHSA. In order to inform coaches, we are sending the proposal to as many as possible. We also ask for your help in spreading the message to other track coaches in your region or your area of the state. At the Track and Field clinic at Wesleyan, on January 16th and 17th, we will have a room set up on Friday and Saturday for open discussion about the proposal. We will finalize the proposal on Saturday and present at the lunch January 17th. If you are not going to attend the clinic, we ask that you email any thoughts you have on the matter to one of the coaches listed below. The coaches represent different areas of the state and want to hear your thoughts on the proposal, any ideas you might have about the proposal, and/or any input on sites that might be willing and able to host the meets.
