Virtual Meets are awesome. Sure, they're no substitution for the real thing. And a virtual meet can't predict things like injuries, fatigue, false starts, etc... There are casualties when chasing a team championship in track and field. Sometimes the stars align, but the state meet is never without at least a couple of surprises. So some might call it a fool's errand to try to predict how things will go at state. And I generally agree with them. but a virtual meet is still the best way to get an idea of which direction things are trending. And that's why we use them.
So here's a results merge for both of the 7A sectional meets. These virtual meets only include athletes who finished top eight at sectionals in their event. These lists are based on sectional performances, not PR's, so keep in mind that some athletes might be ranked lower as they just focused on qualifying instead of giving their best effort.
