It's not at all a surprise to see 7A team champions Westlake at the top of this list
Who has the best team all class? That's much harder to determine for track and field than it is for cross country. And there are a few different ways to determine it. You could score the rankings like a normal meet, but I like to go a little deeper than that and score it through 20 athletes/relays. So the top ranked athlete/relay gets 20 points and the 20th ranked athlete/relay gets 1 point. Then add them all up and see what you get. It's not perfect, but it rewards top level talent like we do in regular meets while also giving teams credit for performers who are still really good, but not quite in the top 8 point scorers.
