Atlanta Classic ReCap, Moore and Foreman Race to Individual Titles Bruce Taylor Sep 28, 2015

It was a fun filled wet morning for the runners at the Atlanta Classic. Some very competitive racing occurred despite conditions which slowed the course. Whitewater and North Oconee took it to the wire in the Varsity Boys race and Huntsville (one of Alabama's best Girls squads) took it out on Georgia teams winning by 34 over Westminster. Our young GaMileSplit crew hung tough, shooting race footage and stills all morning!

Wingfoot XC Classic Recap Atlanta Track Club Sep 27, 2015

The inaugural Wingfoot XC Classic was a memorable event for participants and spectators. Persistent rain created messy conditions in Cartersville’s Sam Smith Park, but those in attendance embraced the atmosphere and celebrated runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. In fact, some runners were excited to run in the mud and said it made the day even more fun.

2015 Atlanta Classic - Meet Preview Ronnie Brown Sep 25, 2015

23 teams will line it up Saturday morning at Clinton Nature Preserve for the 2015 Atlanta Classic. The mostly single-loop 5,000 meter course will feature 3 hay bale jumps and an exciting 300 meter spectator-friendly finish.

Wingfoot XC Classic: Boys Preview Atlanta Track Club Sep 25, 2015

This weekend we expect Milton, Forsyth Central, Marist, Blessed Trinity, and Clarkston as our top teams. For the first time this season we will see Jack Bluth, Frank Pittman, and Chase and Chandler Kennedy in the same race.

Wingfoot XC Classic: Girls Preview Atlanta Track Club Sep 25, 2015

This Saturday, Atlanta Track Club will host the inaugural Wingfoot XC Classic. A total of 33 high school teams are expected to battle it out in Cartersville’s Sam Smith Park on a never-before-seen, single-loop course.

3A Boys Team Rankings Week Ending 9/20 Georgia Ranking Committee Sep 24, 2015

This was a quiet week at the top of AAA, but Blessed Trinity did run the Fulton County Championships and several AAA squads faced off at the West Hall Invite early in the week. Banks County's boys and girls have now cracked the top 10 for the first time and there was some movement in spots 6-10 for boys and girls. Watch List squads from each week are all ranked 11th from this point on.

1A Private Girls Team Rankings Week Ending 9/22 Georgia Ranking Committee Sep 24, 2015

Hebron Christian closed the gap considerably on Landmark after a great 6th at Gwinnett County, and in a race with 150 or more competitive runners it could be a toss up. Kathryn Foreman of Landmark has now not raced for 2 weekends... PCA ran well at Gwinnett but remains 4th as Athens Academy beat them heads up a couple weeks back. A real shakup from 5-7 as Warpath brought out the best in Walker, Fellowship Christian and Mount Paran.

2A Girls Team Rankings Week Ending 9/20 Georgia Ranking Committee Sep 23, 2015

Lovett continued to display their dominance over AA schools placing a strong 3rd at Gwinnett County keeping the Lions in the All Class Rankings. Wesleyan and Darlington are very close at 2 & 3. Model (unranked) ran wild at Ridge Ferry moving into 4th this week. Holy Innocents and St. Vincent's Academy were OFF.
