Marist seems to have run JV at Warpath. St. Pius X, Heritage - Catoosa and North Hall ran very well this past week. The musical chairs from 7-10 continues.
Not alot going on this week in 4A Boys for the top 7 squads. St. Pius boys ran very well at Hares and Hounds in NC at the revamped Foot Locker course. The gap between 1 and 2 has closed, while the West Hall meet added clarity to places 5-10 (for this week anyway)
Dunwoody retained their top ranking by going 19:54 at Hare & Hounds (Foot Locker course) Union grove continued to ascend up the ladder to 2nd after placing a strong 2nd at Coach Daley behind West Forsyth. Creekview rose 2 spots after a solid race at Warpath. Columbus breaks into the rankings for the first time this Fall after being on the 'Watch List'
The Warpath Invitational had a big hand in the 5A Rankings as Forsyth Central came out on top of Alexander by 23 points. Creekview surged to 6th after being on the 'Watch List' for a week. Dalton bested North Atlanta at Warpath moving into the rankings at 9th this week. Flowery Branch, Clarkston and Allatoona were off.
Marietta defeated #10 Nationally Ranked Broughton at the Adidas Classic rising to #1 in 6A & All Class. Brookwood rose to 2nd after winning Gwinnett County. Pope moved up 3 spots to 7th after a fine race at Ridge Ferry.
Mill Creek takes over #1 after their domination of the Gwinnett County Championship. Northview back at full strength looks poised to defend their 6A title. Parkview showed improvement at Gwinnett moving up 2 spots to 8th. Peachtree Ridge emerges on the 'Watch List' 11-15.
Mill Creek jumps to #1 All Class after a dominating performance at Gwinnett County. Northview rises 6 spots, finally running full strength at Fulton County.
Marietta Boys explode to the top of the All-Class Rankings after traveling to Cary NC and beating MileSplit National #10 Broughton.

The 5th Annual Coach Daley Invite course was lengthened a bit for this Fall and the flat layout didn't yield so many quick times as in the past.
Almost completely overlooked in the coverage, Marietta traveled to Cary, NC and at the Wake Med Soccer Complex stole away the team title with one runner in the top 10. Let's hope this gets Marietta some 'National' attention now..
Once again some great racing in the Gwinnett County Championships as Mill Creek has established themselves as the premiere program in Georgia with their Girls just blowing away a competitive field by nearly 60 points and the guys a close 2nd to Brookwood. The Hawks also boasted the top Individuals with sam Costa Overall Boys champ and Camryn Petit taking the Girls' honors.

The MS Runners of the week have been selected and both came from the Whitefield MS XC Time Trial. Girls 'ROW' is Emily Little of Whitefield Academy and Boys 'ROW' is Gabriel Schlicht of Cornerstone Christian Academy.
This week, 'Runners of the Week' for each Class have been condensed into a single article. Difficult choices abounded as we get into the 'meat' of the season.
This week we are combining the 'Class' Girls 'Runners of the Week' into 1 article. The top Performer amongst these Gals was Emma Grace Hurley and Lindsay Billings.
The Week Ending 9/13 All-Class ROWs are Helen Williams of Atlanta International and Carlos Torres from Marietta HS.
24 schools will descend on the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers for the Gwinnett County Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
