Woodward kids ran hard placing 2nd, but their team is not the same without a healthy Drew Sands. Blessed's Matt Munns was a strong 3rd in 15:29 leading his Titans to 3rd in the team scoring. Cross Keys also q'd for state in 4th.

St.Pius' girls dispatched a strong Blessed Trinity squad winning the region title Margaret Crawford has emerged as a contender for the AAA individual title winning the overall title in 18:47 with Rebecca Entrekin placing 3rd in 19:18, and the Lion's swept the 5-8 positions. Blessed Trinity was a strong 2nd in the team race 18 points back led by Anna Gandolfo's overall runnerup finish in 19:52. Woodward and Decatur also q'd.
