High School division is FULL.We are not accepting anymore teams in this division.
MEET OVERVIEW
We will be hosting 5K and 3K races again on the permanentcourse the City of Roswell built for cross country with wide running paths andplenty of shade running along sections of the Chattahoochee River. Most of thecourse is crushed gravel and the rest is grass. As always, great music, goodfood, awesome T-shirts!
LOCATION
Garrard Landing Park - 8000 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell, GA
PARKING
Garrard's Landing: Parking space is limited.We are not having off-site parking this
year.
RACE SCHEDULE (Tentative)
6:30-7:30 am Packet pick up near the finish chute
7:50 am Varsity Girls 5K (top 10 runners)
8:20 am Varsity Boys 5K (top 10 runners)
8:45 am JV Girls 5K
9:20 am JV Boys 5K
9:50 am MS Girls 3K
10:15 am MS Boys 3K
AWARDS
Varsity &JV at 10:15 am on the hillside near the announcer's tent.
Individual: Top 20 runners in each race will receive a
medal.
Team awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
TEAM BUSES & VANS
Large buses MUST park offsite.
15 Passenger or smaller buses/vans driven by coaches canpark onsite.
TIMING
The Perfect Timing Group will provide timing services.
Runners will need to attach chips to their shoes. Volunteers will be in thefinish chute to help remove the chips and collect them. Your team will be charged $20 per chip for any chips not returned.Results will be posted near the park pavilion restrooms
ASAP. They will also be posted live on MileSplit.
REGISRTRATION AND TEAM FEES
We are limiting the number of teams to 12 in both the highschool and middle school races this year due to parking.Please contact RHSHornetsxc@gmail.com to addyour school to the list.
$300 per high school team($150 per girls' or boys' high school team).
$200 per middle school team ($100 per girls' or boys' team).
