We have a new and improved permanent course that City of Roswell has constructed for cross country with fewer turns, wider running paths and more shade with sections running close to the Chattahoochee River. Most of the course is crushed gravel and the rest is grass.
Chip timing for immediate and accurate results and live streaming
Inaugural Open 5K Cross Country Race at end the high school and middle school races. This will be on the same course as high school but open to all runners including parents, coaches, siblings and general community.
Lots of raffle prizes our sponsors have provided lots of free services and merchandise that we will be raffling away to all runners and spectators!
As always, great music, good food, awesome T-shirts!
The schedule:
Packet pick up at the park pavilion
Coaches' meeting at the park pavilion at 7:00
8:00AM Varsity Girls(10 runners)
8:35AM Varsity Boys(10 runners)
9:05AM JV Girls
9:45AM JV Boys
10:20AM Middle School Boys 3200m
10:45AM Middle School Girls 3200m
Awards 10:45
The fee is $100 per girls' or boys' high school team and $200 per school. Fee is $100
per middle school team all your runners or $10 a runner for less than 10. Checks should be made to RHSXC Booster Club and sent to:
Roswell High School c/o David Evans. The JV (B) race will be boys and girls
together and will only be 3200 meters. If we dont reach the max # of 360 in the JV races, teams will be allowed to add to the 35 runner limit and the JV B race will be canceled.
Awards: Top 10 runners in each JV race, top 20 runners in each varsity race. Team
awards 1st and 2nd in JV races, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the varsity races.
Middle school awards for the top 10 girls and boys, no team awards.
Bus drop off will be at the course and buses must remain on the park property for parking.
Parking is on the north side of Holcomb Bridge Road at the Deer Valley Golf Driving Range. If coming from Roswell turn left into the parking, if coming from Norcross, turn right into parking.
Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a family. No bills over $20 please.
