The Week 9 ending 10-19 Girls 'Runners of the Week' mostly came from the Coach Wood meet. Its hard to deny Northview's Lindsay Billings yet another 'All-Class' honor as she shattered the old course record with a swift 18:00 defeating Morgan Ilse by 24 seconds.

The Nike-Fleet Coach Wood Invitational produced 5 of the 8 HS Boys for week ending 10-19. Pictured are 5A ROW Christian Bowles and 6A ROW Khayvonn Benson. Reilly Friedman of Galloway was delected as the All-Class 'ROW' after his 1st place effort at Coach Wood in 15:50.
Coach Wood was ahuge meet for Metro 6A's best of the best. Only South Forsyth and West Forsyth did not compete their with South Forsyth off. As the teams that went head to head so should be the rankings....Northview is looking untouchable in 6A if they stay healthy, Milton ran great moving up past Harrison.

In annually one of the most competitive meets found in the state of Georgia at the Coach Wood Invitational in Gainesville, Northview junior Lindsay Billings lived up to her billing as arguably the best in her state and one of the fastest this fall in the entire Southeast with a dominant 24 second margin of victory over another Georgia best in Morgan Isle (2nd, 18:24) of Marist. Billings crossed the line in a meet record performance of 18 minutes flat.

The Coach Wood invitational (dubbed as the all classification state meet) did not disappoint. There were highly anticipated individual battles, and of 17 of the top 20 All Classification teams toed the line at Gaineseville College on this cool Saturday morning..
