The Sophomore class got a huge boost from fast courses recently and the times dropped big time. Though nobody got under the coveted 16:00 barrier, we had some close calls. CHRISTIAN JIMENEZ continues to lead the the list with his 16:01 from Great American XC Festival. JOSEPH MINECCI inched closer to the lead after his win in the Varsity race at 19th Annual Coach Wood Invitational. ANDREW ROTHWELL and TYLER PHILLIPS notched a pair of 16:06's at Coach Wood and Alexander / Asics Invitational respectively. And DIEGO FERNANDES remains in the top 5 after his 16:10 at The Southern Showcase. Overall those 5 lead a group that put 25 sophomores under 17:00 and 126 under 18:00. See where everybody stacks up:
