Dunwoody Girls and Alpharetta Boys are 6A Champs

6A Boys

6A Team Champs Alpharetta

The 6A Boys meet was a very low scoring affair, but ended with an absolute bang as Alpharetta scored 16 points in the 4x400 relay passing 7 other schools to steal the team title. Robbie Ruppel anchored their A squad to the Gold medal in 3:16.23, and their B squad scored the Bronze with 6 HUGE points. Ruppel earlier placed 2nd in the 400m dash clocking a 48.09  Alpharetta started Finals by taking 3rd place in the 4x100. Bradwell Institute clawed their way to the runnerup spot on the team Podium with 35 points followed by New Manchester and Dacula.

Morrow cranked up a 41.29 taking the 4x100m relay title

Anthony Adams from Grovetown won the 400m dash going 47.81

Shamar Rose of Bradwell Institute charged to 100m Gold clocking a 10.63

Incredible 100h race as it was a dead heat on the last flight of hurdles with Allan Mbah of Lovejoy (L) finding his pot of Gold leaning at the tape for the win at 14.32

Darius Ragland of New Manchester had a great race taking the 800m crown at 1:55.06

Shamar Rose of Bradwell Institute had the best performance of the meet taking 200m Gold at 21.16

Lanier HS swept the 300h with Zachary Charles taking the win at 38.27 and Nahil Perkins going 38.79

Robbie Ruppel led Alpharetta's 4x400 'A' squad to the Gold in 3:16.23

..Alpharetta's 'B' squad crossed the line 3rd at 3:21.56 propelling the Raiders' to the 6A team title

6A Girls

With only 5 girls, Dunwoody won the 6A girls team title 50 points. The Wildcats came into Finals with 36 points leading by 11 points over Forest Park. Dunwoody scored all 36 of those in the field events with Janae Profit taking the win in the Shot at 43-9.25 and had a nice toss in the Discus of 144-2  Ariel Lawrence scored 14 points with a Silver in the TJ (39-3) and 3rd place effort in the LJ (19-1) Jahvene Walder picked up 6 points in the HJ with a bar of 5-4  Saturday they got to sit and watch their lead dwindle until Walder raised her game and placed 3rd in the 100h (14.69) and raced to Silver in the 300h at 44.60  Cambridge fell short by 2.5 points placing 2nd as a team, with New Manchester 3rd and Alexander 4th. 

Bradwell Institute hustled to the 4x100 relay title posting a 47.74

Dae'Nitra Hester of New Manchester won the 400m dash going 55.57

Keyeria White from Valdosta HS strided to 100m Gold clocking a 12.02

Olivia Brown from Effingham County won the 100h title posting a time of 13.96

Riley Perlakowski of Harrison held on to take the Gold in the 800m run at 2:13.18

Alexis Williams of Lovejoy crushed it in the 200m dash going 23.80

Kennedy R. Crawford of Alexander skies over the final flight of hurdles taking Gold at 43.56

Alexander moved into 4th place as a team after their 4x400 win in 3:52.98
