Banneker's Ryan Clark Smokes the Sprints at 10.26 and 20.79 Setting New All-Time Records

I'm taking some liberty, but this reminded me of a scene in 'Gladiator', as Russell Crowe exclaimed, "Are You Not Entertained !" Ryan Clark will leave his mark on Georgia HS Track forever, becoming the 'Fastest Man' in GHSA history. Clark teased the crowd Friday going 10.29/21.10 in the short Sprints. One could feel the anticipation build as his events became ever closer.

Ryan had a top gear that even Olympic Gold Medalists Terrance Trammell and Angelo Taylor (in attendance) had to enjoy. Clark was like a jet in both events, beating his prelims time in a (-1.3) wind in the 100 meters in 10.26 and just rolled to a 20.76 in the 200 meters, that had his fellow competitors scrambling right after the race to check out the 'Scoreboard'. Wow! Then Clark anchored Banneker's incredible 4x400 squad to a National #1 time on MileSplit USA at 3:12.03 (not yet parsed)

Good luck to Ryan at Outdoor Nationals and as a Florida Gator next Collegiate Indoor season. It has been a pleasure for everyone to watch you perform!
