In a race that kind of a 'yawnwer' for distance afficiendos, it became growingly close every lap..Cavanna Epps took the race out early with a huge lead after 2 laps, but Kate Massey from Commerce kept focused on the task ahead slowly closing the gap every lap making it a real race the final lap. Epps held on down the stretch taking the win in 12:38 with Massey running out of track placing 2nd in 12:40 picking up big points for Commerce. Ansley Malone from Treutlen was 3rd in 13:33.
