5A Boys Pre-Season Rankings #3
The Panthers were ranked 7th going into the State meet last year, but like Lakeside Evans had a tough outing ending up 11th at the big dance. Starrs lost 3 of their top 7 including James Adams, but have depth in the top 7 returners all having pr's of sub 18:19 promoting a tighter split with improvement. Joshua Warren is the top returner for the Panthers with a pr of 16:28 on his home course. He will be looking for redemption after having a rough day at State in 2013 placing 182nd. Alex Casado returns with a pr of 17:13 at the Highland Church course. The key to a high Podium finish this Fall may well be the outstanding Outdoor season returners had in the 1600/3200.
