GATFXCCA Announces 2026 Meet of Champions
The Georgia Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (GATFXCCA) is proud to announce the 2026 Meet of Champions, one of the premier track and field events in the state. This elite competition will showcase the top 16 athletes in each event across all classifications, bringing together Georgia's best talent to compete at the highest level.
The meet will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at McEachern High School. Georgia continues to produce some of the nation's top track and field athletes, and this event will provide a platform to determine the best of the best.
Qualification standards will limit entries to the top 16 athletes per event and top 8 relay teams. All 2026 GHSA State Champions will automatically qualify for the meet.
Events contested will include the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 100m hurdles, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and all field events.
The GATFXCCA encourages all coaches to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their athletes on a statewide stage. This meet is designed to provide a competitive, high-quality championship experience while highlighting the depth of talent across Georgia.
Additional meet details, including final entries and event schedules, will be released soon. Invitations will begin this week.
