Veterans and Perry Fight it Out at Houston County Championships

In a matchup of 2 top 10 AAAA schools, Perry's boys were strong getting some payback on Veterans winning the team title by 13 points. Teamates Jackson Reid and Rob Ray paved the way taking the top 2 spots as Reid ran a 16:44, followed by Ray in 16:59 Michael Rowlands was the top Veterans boys crossing the line in 17:23
Girls
2 strong 4A squads went at it in Warner Robins as Veterans on the strength of their top 4 won the Girls team title beating Perry by a mere 3 points. Bethanie Bailey was the top Hawk placing 2nd in 20:15. Perry's Abby Booth was untouchable winning the Individual title in a quick 19:29.
