The following Surveys will be required for each GHSA memeber school before the end of the 2014-2015 season. Please submit each by the due date. The AD at each school has access to the surveys.
The start of track practice is Monday the 19th and only 37 schools have logged in to certify pole vault pits are compliant with the new NFHS rule. Just a reminder that schools unable to fulfill these requirements are PROHIBITED from practicing or competing in the Pole Vault event at a non-compliant facility. The following went out to all ADS yesterday. If your AD has not contacted you and you have the new padding in place you will need to ask him to log onto the MIS site and certify that your school is ready for practice and competition.

The rules clinic will have one face-to-face meeting at the Georgia Track & Field Clinic this coming Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Wesleyan High School, Norcross Georgia. If you would like to attend contact Tomy Sitton at tomasasitton@bellsouth.net or tsitton@jackson.k12.ga.us

Legendary Coach, Jerry Arnold, gives a Detailed Georgia HS Track and Field Rules refresher before Region Meets get underway within a week. This is an important read as many athletes are DQ'd every year do to simply not knowing the rules or they just are never enforced until the vast majority of Region meets and if not....the GHSA bites them at State.
