The Redan boys finished 1st and 2nd in several events to take the crown at the Dalton Rotary Relays on Saturday. Shaun Johnson led the way with a 14.75 in the 110m hurdles as Redan wins handily in a tune up for the Dekalb Co. Championships next week.
On the girls side, Northwest Whitfield used depth in every event took advantage of big points in the pole vault to take a 135-124 win over Redan who is also preparing for their County Championships on Monday. Shelley Taylor won the 1600m with a 5:13 while Morgan Williams added a big win the 400m with a 58.31.
