Andy Christie, Head Boys' Cross Coach, Assistant Boys' Track and Field Coach, Mill Creek High School, Region 7-AAAAAA
Andy Christie is in his 16th year of coaching Cross Country and Track. After having started coaching at South Gwinnett under Rick Wood he moved to Dacula. He is now at Mill Creek. Andy has coached numerous Region, County and both team and individual state champions in multiple different classifications in both cross country and track and field. For the last several years he has been the webmaster for gwinnettxctf.com and has contributed interviews to ga.milesplit.com. He worked as a staff coach at the Smoky Mountain Running Camp in 2002 and 2003, was a featured speaker in 2014. He also was a staff coach at the North Georgia Distance Runners Camp from 2004-2007. He has been named the Gwinnett County Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2012 and he also is the meet director of the Nike/Fleet Feet Coach Wood Invitational, which started in 2003.
Travis Gower, Head Track and Field and Cross Country Coach, Walton High School, Region 5-AAAAAA
Beginning his career at McEachern High School in 2002, Coach Gower has now moved on to Walton High School. Having won multiple state titles in both track and field and cross country, Coach Gower adds those to numerous individual titles and region championships. Coach Gower has been the meet director of the Cobb County Cross Country meet from 2005 to the present and meet director of the Cobb County Track & Field meet from 2009
