Elite Athlete for 2026 meet
We are excited to announce that Joe Klecker will be our invited athlete this year. Joe is a 2021 US Olympian in the 10K, 9 Times NCAA all American running for Colorado, including 2nd at NCAA XC Nationals. He currently runs for On Global professional team. His PRs are: 1500m -3:37, 3000m- 7:34, 5000m- 12:54.99, 10,000m- 27:07, Marathon 2:05
He will be speaking at team dinner on Friday evening, which is open to all teams both teams traveling and spending the night and local teams. Joe will be at the meet on Saturday signing autographs, helping with awards, and taking pictures.

- 6:30 am Packet Pick-up Available and Course Opens for Warm-ups
- 7:20 am Course Closes for Warm-ups
- 7:30am Varsity Girls - (max 8 runners per team)
- 8:00am Varsity boys - (max 8 runners per team)
- 8:25am JV Girls - (unlimited- please run your non varsity freshman girls in the freshman race)
- 9:00am JV Boys - (unlimited - please run your non varsity freshman boys in the freshman race)
- 9:30am Freshman Girls- (use mile split to enter your non varsity girls into this race)
- 10:05am Freshman Boys - (use mile split to enter your non varsity boys into this race)
- 10:35 am Middle School Girls -3000m10:55am Middle School Boys -3000m11:10am All Races are completed
- 10:35 Awards started for high school while the middle school races are going.
Awards Specifics - We will have an awards ceremony starting at 10:35 (same time as middle school girls start). Awards will be in order of the races. We will not hand out awards in advance
- Our invited athlete will be helping with awards.
- Varsity Races Individual Medals for the Top 20 runners
- Team Medals for each varsity runner on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams
- JV Races Individual Medals for the Top 20 runners
- Team Medals for each JV runner on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams (limited to the top 10 runners)
- Freshman Races Individual Medals for the Top 10 runners
- Team Medals for each freshman runner on the 1st and 2nd place teams (limited to the top 10 runners)
- 3K Middle School Races Individual Medals for the Top 20 runners
- Team Medals for each middle school runner on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams (limited to the top 10 runners)

Timing: The Perfect Timing Group is the timing company for this meet. Each athlete will have a race number with the timing chip in the number. NO shoe chip.
Results will be posted on www.ga.milesplit.com and www.ptgrouponline.com later on Saturday.

Varsity Race Time Expectation: If you have an athlete that cannot run faster than 28 minutes in the VARSITY girls race or 24 minutes in the VARSITY boys race, you should put them in the JV race.
If your athlete must stop to walk during the race, we will ask them to step off the course and not finish. For the JV, Freshman and middle school Races, we will run the clock for a few additional minutes.

2- Pay your registration fees by August 10 electronically
- Option 1: Use Zelle: Entry Fee with NO processing fees: send Zelle payment to SMHS.FLBC@gmail.com
- Option 2: Use Square: Registration Fees for Sept 5 XC Meet - note there is a small processing fee
3- All registration fees need to be received by Monday August 10;
- If we do not receive payment by August 10, we will assume that your plans have changed and will open the meet to teams on the wait list who have paid.
- $190 for High School Boys Races (Var, JV, Frosh races), $190 of High School Girls Races (Var, JV, Frosh races)
- $100 for Middle School Boys Race, $100 for Middle School Girls Race
- $25 per Individual if you are not brining a full team, High school athletes still need to run for their high school and be registered by their high school coach; Middle school athletes can run for school, club, or unattached
