Meet Information

Welcome to the official meet page for the Grove Level Invitational (North Georgia Cross-Country League - Meet #4) Hosted By Coahulla Creek HS.

All *eligible GA and TN teams are invited to register for the race. *Please be aware that, per GHSA regulations, no unaffiliated teams will be allowed to register for league races. Schools must be members of the GHSA, GISA, TSSAA, or an equivalent organization in order to participate.

Race Location: Grove Level Park - 3931 Tom Manis Rd NE - Dalton, GA 30721

Course: The Grove Level course boasts all-natural running surfaces (primarily grass), and spectators can see runners in several locations without much walking. The course is relatively flat, with only mild increases in elevation.

CHIP TIMING will be provided by Carpet Capital Running Club (Dalton, GA)

Race Times:
(1) Combined Junior Varsity (5k) - 5:00 PM
(2) Varsity Girls (5k) - 5:45 PM
(3) Varsity Boys(5k) - 6:20 PM

Awards:

Medals will be awarded to the top-10 athletes in each varsity race.

The top-5 JV boys and top-5 JV boys will receive medals as well. JV medals will be distributed in the chute. 
Plaques will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd-place teams in each varsity race.
The winning team(s), as well as the top-10 individual finishers (varsity only), will be recognized after the varsity races have concluded.

Entry Fees:

The entry fee for the high school division is $2.50 per athlete.

PLEASE make any roster adjustments before October 3 at 12:00 P.M (noon).

Payments: Make checks payable to Carpet Capital Running Club, and put "NGXCL Meet #4" in the memo line. These can be delivered the day of the meet or mailed prior to the meet.

Limitations: COACHES, PLEASE NOTE: THE MEET WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 30 H.S. TEAMS. 

Registration will close early if 30 teams register before the deadline.

WE WILL ALLOW 10 H.S. VARSITY ENTRIES per team. (RACES 2 & 3). Enter your top-10 runners in varsity HS races and your remaining athletes in the appropriate JV race.

JV entries are unlimited.

Entry Deadline: October 3 at 12:00 P.M (noon)

Facilities: Restrooms will be available at the pavilion located adjacent to the parking area. Please remind your athletes to be respectful of the facilities.

Concessions: Concessions may be provided by the host school.

Admission: We will charge $5 for each personal vehicle (buses excluded). Proceeds will go to the host school(s) to help defray the costs associated with hosting a meet.

Parking: Parking for buses and spectators is available in designated areas.  There will be signs and volunteers to direct you when your team arrives. All buses will be directed to the unloading and parking areas.
