2022 GIAA State Championship Meet

QUALIFICATION

The top 4 teams from each region as well any individuals who finish in the top 10 in their region meet will qualify.

SCHEDULE

7:30 AM - Complex Opens and Packet Pickup Starts

9:00 AM - Girls AA Championship Race

9:45 AM - Boys AA Championship Race

AA Awards Ceremony immediately after start of AAA Girls Race

10:30 AM - Girls AAA Championship Race

11:15 AM - Boys AAA Championship Race

AAA Awards Ceremony immediately after conclusion of the AAA Boys Race

COURSE

First Presbyterian Day School

5671 Calvin Dr Macon, GA

The Peake Cross Country Trail at FPD is a one loop 5K course consisting mainly of crushed gravel, mulch, and dirt trails. The start and finish is on the grass field at the front of the complex. The 5K course is marked with permanent signage for any teams that wish to view the course on their own time prior to the meet. The complex will close to all teams at 5 PM on Friday October 28th. Teams are allowed to bring tents to set up on the grass the day before the meet as long as they are set up before the complex closes.

ADMISSION

All spectators will need to pay the admissions fee of $12 per adult and $10 per student.

PARKING

The gated lot at the entrance of the cross country complex will be reserved for team buses as well as handicapped parking. All other spectators should use any of the other lots on campus for parking. There is no parking fee in addition to the admission fee.

AWARDS

The Top 10 individuals in each race will receive All-State awards. The Champion and Runner Up in each classification will receive a trophy.
