7:00am Coaches Meeting @ Pavillion

7:30am Varsity Girls (7 runners)

8:10am Varsity Boys (7 runners)

8:40am JV Girls (unlimited)

9:25am JV Boys (unlimited)

10:15am HS Awards

10:45am MS Girls 2mile

11:15am MS Boys 2mile

Box

Numbers:I will have the boxes marked left to right in alphabetical

order (East, Hiram, North, PC, South)

Course:The course will

start on the left soccer field and head away from the other field. It will loop

around and come back around the pond. After looping the pond we will run the

tree line of the first field, tree line of the second field, and then tree line

of the third field. Mile 1 will be right before they exit the third field. We

will then run in the baseball outfield for both fields, then loop up by the

road and run towards the firehouse. We will run the edge of the top of the

park, by the tennis courts, to the firehouse, and loop back by the pavilion.

Runners will cross the entrance to the top parking lot again then head down

hill, run the tree line of field 2 again but in the opposite direction. Run the

tree line of field 1, around the pond, then to the second soccer field and

finish.

MS

Races: There will be a middle school

race after high school is finished. They will be racing a 2 mile course which

cuts out the firehouse loop of the high school course, but starts and finishes

in the same location. On the way to the finish they will not run the tree line

of field 1, but the walking path edge, then join back on the high school

finish.

September 16^th at 11:59pm

T-Shirts:Eagle Sportz

will be onsite selling shirts.

Admission:Admission will

be $5 for anyone 10 or older. Paulding County employees get in for free showing

school ID. Please make sure parents know this ahead of time!

Timing:PT Group will

be chip timing our meet this year. We ask that coaches please gather their

teams chips at the end of the race and return them to the timer.

Concessions: We will be serving concessions this year. Please let your

parents and athletes know!

Awards:We will give

medals to the top 10 finishers in ALL races. The top two teams in Varsity and

JV races will receive a trophy. The winning team will receive our traveling

county trophy. The winner of the trophy will get to keep it for 1 year and will

be responsible for adding their winners plaque to the trophy. The trophies are

fairly expensive so it is expected the winning coach will take care of it for

the year. If the trophy is damaged, lost or stolen, the team that is currently

in possession of the trophy will have to buy a replacement.

Middle School awards will go to the

top 5 finishers in both races. We will also hand out medals to the top 3

Paulding County runners as well for the Paulding County Middle School

Championships.
