Awards: Championship JV: Top 5 individual finishers, first and second place team trophy

Varsity: Top 10 individual finishers, top 3 teams

There will be no awards ceremony, awards will be mailed to schools after the meet has concluded.

Entries will be completed through: ga.milesplit.com. Please enter only those athletes that will compete. There will be a $20 charge for any late entries or changes after the deadline.

Course:5690 Old Stilesboro Rd NW, Acworth, GA 30101

Mostly grass course with some dirt/gravel paths.

Event Overview:

8 - 5km races over Friday, September 4th & Saturday, September 5th, 2020

All Athletes, Coaches, Spectators and Race Personnel will be asked to maintain a 6' Social Distance at all times.

Masks will be required to be worn by spectators, coaches and athletes who are not participating in the current events at all times.

No Post Meet Awards Ceremony. Results will be posted online soon after each race is finished on Ga.Milesplit.com

No race will overlap with the previous or next race, so no athletes will cross over from different races.

Additional signage will be added to the park to remind Spectators & Participants to Social Distance.

A public address announcer will repeat a message every 15 minutes to remind people to Social Distance, wear their mask and exit the park after their event.

The Perfect Timing Group will time the meet using chip timing. Please only enter athletes that will be present on meet day.

Team Survey to find out not only which teams, but how many of each level of athlete (male, female, varsity, JV, etc.) will be attending to evenly distribute races as best possible.

Only 1 Coach per team will be allowed to check their team in at the Race Control Tent/Starting Line.

Additional races to reduce the # of athletes to as few as possible per race.

Teams are assigned a Start Box at check-in that matches their assigned Team area.

Additional Empty Start "boxes" separated by 6 feet will keep teams apart on the Start Line.

Team Tents will be set up in the field adjacent to the Start Field allowing for more space between team areas.

Teams will be assigned an area to set up. This will be set up on a grid system to keep teams separated as much as possible.

Teams need to provide their own Hand Sanitizer for their team.

10 Portable Toilets will be spread throughout the Team Tent area to help promote social distancing while waiting in line.

No Water will be available at the Finish Line.

Timing Chips will not be removed at the Finish Line, coaches will collect them at the team tent area and return them to the timer later.

Coaches will screen their own athletes prior to arriving at the meet and sign a verification form that all of their athletes were symptom free and temperatures were in an acceptable range.

Buses will be parked at Frey Elementary/Durham Middle School during the meet.

Athletes will not be allowed to spectate other races.

Event Details - Spectators:

Spectators will be limited to 1 person per participating athlete.

Spectators will be screened prior to parking.

Spectators must remain in the Spectator assigned areas of the park as shown on the map.

o   Additional areas will be marked to help spread spectators out.

Spectators will not be allowed in Start Field or near the Finish Line.

Spectators will be required to maintain 6' of Social Distance at all times.

Hand Sanitizer will be available near the entrance of the course.

Spectators will be asked and encouraged to leave the meet once their athlete has completed their event.

Georgia Promotions will be available for merchandise sales in the Team Tent field.

All customers will be required to maintain 6' of Social Distancing.
