We are excited to bring you the 2019 AT&T Starr's Mill Panther XC Meet.

You can count on another strong XC meet this year:

A Fast course, strong fields, spectator friendly, and well managed to keep the meet on track.

We are excited to bring in another Olympic hopeful, Karisa Nelson, NCAA Mile Champion.

She will be at the meet signing auto graphs, taking pictures with teams, and handing out awards. And, she will be at the team dinner the night before. All teams are welcome to the dinner.

2016- Drew Hunter ( 2019 USATF indoor 3k champion, 2019 World Championship qualifier),

2015- Emily Sisson (2019 World Championship qualifier and NCAA record holder),

2014- Alan Webb (American record holder in the mile)



Schedule of races:

6:30 am Packet Pick-up Opens and Course Open for Warm-ups

7:50 am Course Closes for Warm-ups

8:00 am Varsity Girls (10 runners)

8:30 am Varsity Boys (10 runners)

8:55 am JV Girls (unlimited)

9:30 am JV Boys (unlimited)

10:00 am Freshman Boys and Girls (run together, scored & awarded separately)

10:35 am Middle School Girls -3000m

10:55 am Middle School Boys - 3000m

10:36 am Awards (started just after the middle school Girls race goes off)

11:30am All awards completed.



Timing:

The Perfect Timing Group is the timing company for this XC meet. Each athlete will have a race number and a shoe chip. We will remove the shoe chip before they leave the finish chute. Return all chips not used to finishline area before leaving. All shoe chips not returned will be charged to the school of the runner. Results will be posted on www.ga.milesplit.com and www.ptgrouponline.com later on Saturday.

***All runners must be register online to receive shoe chips. No shoe chip = No official time.

Entry Fees:

High school Races:

$150.00 entry fee- covers entries into the boys varsity, JV, and Freshman races

$150.00 entry fee- covers entries in the girls varsity, JV, and freshman races

Middle School Races:

$75.00 entry fee- covers entries in the Middle School boy's race

$75.00 entry fee- cover entries into the Middle school girl's race

Any middle school team with more than 50 boys & girls entered, will be charge $2 per runner above 50 athletes

  • $20 per individual competing in the middle school race (if you don't have enough for a team)

    Individual Medals for the Top 20 runners

    Team Trophy for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams

    Team Medals for each varsity runner on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams

    JV Races

    Individual Medals for the Top 20 runners

    Team Trophy for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams

    Team Medals for each JV runner on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams (limited to the top 10 runners)

    Freshman Race

    Individual Medals for the Top 10 runners

    Team Trophy for the 1st, and 2nd place teams

    Team Medals for each freshamn runner on the 1st, and 2nd place teams (limited to the top 10 runners)

    3K Middle School Race

    Individual Medals for the Top 20 runners

    Team Trophy for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams

    77 acres, 3 entrances for easy traffic flow

    1000+ parking spots, special bus parking area, plus overflow parking

    Plenty places for warm-up by the course or paved paths

    Plenty of portable restrooms near team team/ warm up area and separate one inside the start area

    Course markers every 200m on the course + additional Clock at the 1 mile marker

    Finish Chute and large clock at the line

    Elite Athlete Tent for autographs

    They will be available at the tent to sign autographs and take pictures throughout the morning.

    Courtesy Rules:

    If you have an athlete cannot run faster than 25 minutes in the VARSITY race, you should put them in the JV race.

    If your athlete must stop to walk during the race, we will ask them to step off the course and not finish.

    We will stop the automatic timing at 30 minutes. If you have an athlete running slower than 30 minutes, they will not get placed in the results and the coach will need to time them yourself.

    For the Freshman and middle school Races, we will run the clock for a few additional minutes.
