Course Information:
Slight modifications have been made to the REGION 6-6A course from what the athletes ran at the RIVER RUN
Starting line move back 10M and the line angled to give no advantage to any team
Turn around loop at the end of the gravel road (run twice) extended to run on the gravel road surface versus cutting across the center island
The large grass loop, mid course, has been extended and a very small hill added at the back of the loop
The finish line has been extended slightly
Course has been measured with a wheel at walking pace, multiple times, using tangents as per requirements.
Cross country course measurement is an inexact process but every effort has been made to deliver a 5,000M course.

Team tent area any place under the trees or in the field area that is roped off.

Bus Parking please see our parking parents as you come in. My plan is to place the buses father down the course as to not limit the view of parents. You can drop off at the main area.

At the conclusion of the JV Boys race Ill call for a coach to look over results to make sure no one is misplaced. Send one coach to me so we can have it 100% correct when we go to awards. Ill also post the results on the side of our Gold trailer that will be located in the main field.

RULES GHSA Please go over this with your athletes. We will check each team 10 minutes prior to their start time at the starting line.
1. No GPS watches
2. Uniforms must match undergarments of solid color and must match team mates in color but not length
3. Jewelry zero tolerance per GHSA
4. Please cover with your parents not to enter the competition area. Stay off the course.

Please go over this early as it will make things go smoothly and avoid any hardships through the race day.

Finally, please educate your parents about the $5 entry fee. If they could have $5 or $1 it will help with the line coming into the park. The earlier they show up the better to have everyone in the park before the meet starts. The fee goes back to the region and is set by the region. All expenses related to our varsity meet are covered by these fees. My athletic department will be sending workers to take money and hopefully get everyone in smoothly.

Timing/results: Will be handled by The Perfect Timing group. They will handle all entry and the timing
processes.

Qualification: All athletes in the top 6 individually regardless of team. Top 4 teams in each varsity race.
