Milton Showcase 2014

On Saturday, March 1st, Milton HS will entertain 20 visiting schools including defending 2013 AAAAAA state team champions Mill Creek (boys) & AAAA Champions Marist in the largest track meet ever to be held at Milton. A full slate of events are on tap with field events beginning at 9:30am along with the running of the 4x1600 meter relay. With a strong contingent of teams and some defending individual state champions, many Milton stadium records are expected to fall or be broken!

Beginning with last week's meets from 2-25 thru this past Saturday, Ga.MileSplit will be selecting Track and Field Athletes of the Week.  This article includes Class 6A AOWs who all achieved MileSplit National Silver Elite performances. Kenan Farmer's strong 9:14 in the 3200 Meters at the Milton Showcase earned him the Boys 6A 'Athlete of the Week' award.

This article includes Class 4A AOWs who all achieved MileSplit National Silver Elite performances.  Zaquavian Smith from Statesboro HS is the 4A Boys Athlete of the Week after doubling at the Statesboro Invitational.
