Milton Showcase Preview
On Saturday, March 1st, Milton HS will entertain 20 visiting schools including defending 2013 AAAAAA state team champions Mill Creek (boys) & AAAA Champions Marist in the largest track meet ever to be held at Milton.
A full slate of events are on tap with field events beginning at 9:30am along with the running of the 4x1600 meter relay. With a strong contingent of teams and some defending individual state champions, many Milton stadium records are expected to fall or be broken!
Come on out and enjoy the day and cheer on your favorite teams as locally many north Fulton schools are competing such as Milton, Roswell, Cambridge, Alpharetta, Roswell, Chattahoochee & Northview will be just some of the teams in action! If you're looking for some great distance action to start off the season, Saturday at Milton has it. Plus some nice weather as well!
Girls 4 x 1600 - Marist vs. Mill Creek vs. Walton w/ Morgan Ilse, Lauren Hovis, and Avery Bussjager slated to go against each other. Morgan and Avery will also dual in the 1600m with a slew of other talented runners. In the boys 3200m you'll have defending AAAAAA 3200m State Champion Kenan Farmer of Walton vs. defending AAAA 1600m & 3200m State Champion Daniel Navarro of Marist vs. defending AAAAAA State 1600m Tyler Woodrome of Mill Creek along with Westog of Mill Creek.
