Top Georgia athletes to compete at Taco Bell

The meet entry list reads like a who\'s who of Georgia Track and Field as some of the states top athletes make their way to South Carolina to compete in the Taco Bell Classic at Spring Valley HS. The girls 800m features Brittany Hall, Ena Leufroy, Brittney Robbins, Diamond Marks and Danielle Shaurette,lined up against some of the top talent in the Southeast in what should be a barn burner. The girls one mile run will feature up and comer Erin Guglielmo of Collins Hill who has posted some impressive marks in the 800 and 3200 already this season. In the girls 3200m, top heat runners include Stephanie Uribe of Marist along with Brigit Kimbrough of Southwest Dekalb.

Aleesha Barber (Southwest Dekalb) and Nicole Okolo (Collins Hill) will see how their 14.1 and 14.2 seed times stack up against top flight competition. Both of these girls are battle tested, placing in the top eight at Mobile last weekend. In the girls 4x800, Southwest Dekalb comes in with the number one seed and will face off against Collins Hill who will be running without the services of a couple of their top 800m talent.

On the boys side, Justin Oliver comes in with the top seed in the 200m where he will face Tay Robinson, of Wheeler HS. Quintin Byrd (Redan), Reginald Warren (Mays) , Chris Justice (Parkview), Kirk Carter (Oconee Co.), Matt Churley (Collins Hill) and Deveon Huff (Elbert Co.) will all face off in the top heat in the 800m. Jesse Marino and Nathan Frazier, both of Collins Hill, will participate in the top heat in the 1600m along with Phillip Burks of SW Dekalb and Iain Turnbull of Marist. Miguel Amador, of Collins Hill, is the top rated Georgian in the 3200m final.

In the boys 110 High Hurdles, Anthony Spann (Wheeler HS) will run in the top heat . While the boys 4x800 top heat will feature Collins Hill, Redan, Alexander, Mays HS and Elbert Co. Results will be posted as soon as they are received. Should be a great show in Columbia, SC.
