Congratulations to Luke Stradley from Etowah and Marley Derringer from Bremen as the field events clearly stole the show in our voting last week. Not an easy task when going up against multiple relay nominations and four times as many voters. Stradley was voted top performer thanks to his long jump of 24-1 and the Roswell Relays. Derringer hit 5-8 in the high jump at the Rome Invitational and then actually improved her PR two days later with a jump of 5-10 other senior night.
Vote below now for the Georgia Track & Field boys and girls performers of the week for this week. As I expected those championship style meets brought about some of the best performances of the season, making this one the hardest to narrow down to just five athletes.
