Alexander Girls ran the 6th fastest 800m SMR this year at the Big Orange Relays
We're going to finish up track season by determining which performance was the best throughout the year. The performances have been divided up into four categories that will be voted on this week - Sprint Relays, Sprints/Hurdles, Distance, and Field Events. This week we will vote on each category independently. Then next week you'll get a chance to vote on the top two from each category (boys and girls separately) and then the final week of the month we'll put those winners in one final poll to determine who truly was the best.
Let's start with the sprint relays. This year the top performances in the 4x100m relay were from Buford boys (#1 all time) and Westlake girls (tied #1 all time). In the 4x200m they were from Southwest Dekalb boys (#2 all time) and Westlake girls (#1 all time). In the 4x400m they were from Westlake boys (#8 all time) and Lowndes girls (#4 all time), in the 800m SMR they were from Carrollton Boys and Alexander girls(#6 all time). In the 1600m SMR they were from Shiloh Boys and Alexander Girls. And in the 4x100/110m shuttle hurdle relay they were from Brookwood boys and Brookwood girls.
