General Information

Eligibility:
All competitors are required to be in 6, 7, or 8 grade and living in the state of Georgia. Only valid middle schools and GA-unattached athletes who are in middle school will be allowed to enter the meet. Club teams are allowed to register athletes but will not be scored as part of the Championship.

Entry Fees:
Middle Schools/Clubs = $60 per team (Girls or Boys), $110 for both Girls and Boys
Georgia - Unattached = $25 per person
All entries are to be completed and monies received by April 17 at 11:59pm. There will not be any race day registration or changes. Make check out to SMART Event Management. The address is P.O. Box 2651, Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281.

Event Restrictions:
Middle schools/Clubs can enter 2 competitors in each event and 2 relays in each relay event. A competitor may only enter up to 4 events. This includes field events and relays.

Entry Limitation:
No athlete may enter more than 4 events; this includes relays and field events.

Championship Results


Volunteers:
SMART Athletics is looking for volunteers for this year's championships. Coaches, parents, students, and spectators are welcome. Please contact Pamela Hudson at pamela@smartmeets.com if you are interested. These volunteer duties will range from areas on the track to areas in the field events.

Events:
The Championships will take place over two days. There will be field events and running events on both days. Friday's session will begin at 5:30pm and Saturday's session will begin at 9:00am.

Awards:
2012 All-State Performer certificates will be awarded to the top 8 places in each event.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 places in each event.
Plaques will be awarded to the top female and male performer in the track events and the top female and male performer in the field events.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 female and male teams.
A trophy will be awarded to the school with the most points combined between their girls and boys teams.
