The following was chosen by a committee as the first inaugural North East Georgia All Region Cross Country Team that will be recognized on Dec. 15 at East Jackson High School: (Plans are to have the NE Ga. All Track Team recognized in May of 2015) Thanks to all that contributed to make this happen. A way we can recognize runners in the North East Georgia Area.
Coaches and interested Parents: Our annual clinic is scheduled for Jan. 18 at Wesleyan. We have Kelly Sullivan, formerly at Auburn years ago, from Oregon State speaking on distance-cross country topics. Charles Buckle, McIntosh, is speaking at the clinic. Plenty of distance-cross country talks at the clinic. Speakers and schedule are coming in late November. Great line up will be available to the coaches and interested parents. We will have at least one more distance-cross country coach speaking. We look forward to hosting a great clinic. Last year we had over 250 in attendance. The Marriott located near Wesleyan will be lodging for those needing lodging for the clinic. The only face to face ghsa rules clinic will take place as usual for those attending the clinic.
Here are some late changes made to the GHSA State Track and Field Championships beginning with the Georgia Olympics hosted by Jefferson HS at Bryan Keene Track. Note that Saturday Finals will begin an hour earlier than years before as well.

*In looking at the list, you will notice many of these athletes went on to excell

so much for our sport in Georgia. Please be mindful that the nominees have to be

FINAL SCHEDULE....
Due to the road conditions with our recent weather I have postponed the clinic to another possible date in January. I would like to see if I can possibly find an open date on 22nd or 29th of January or 1st week in February at a school to host a one day clinic. It appears that there may not be school in metro Atlanta this week.
Registration Fees:
If you have sent your fees to me I can sent the check back to you. If we can find a date in January or 1st week in February to host the clinic I can reimburse you the difference in the amounts. I would like to have a one day clinic for around $40.00 (9:00-4:00 tentative time schedule). Schools with 4 or more coaches I will give a discount to for the clinic.
Hotel Reservations at Marriott:
Please cancel your rooms at the Marriott so you don't get charged for staying there.
Hope to see all of you soon
