AA can be unpredictable at State, with most runners never having ran a course like Carrollton. Can Bleckley sweep again?
There was some good head to head racing in the north and south this week. The Floyd Championship race catapulted Armuchee to the top of the rankings this week. Bleckley girls were in control at South Ga Championship. (via MileSplit)
Bleckley is teetering on the top, but don't think they are out of reach of a strong Armuchee team, or the Jeff Davis squad. AA Boys was pretty tight at 2014 State with Wesleyan besting Pace by 12 points. But Wesleyan will be loaded again and harder to compete with than 2014. With the exception of Bleckley County, its going to be a private school dominated class as usual icluding Pace, Holy Innocents and Lovett. Can Bleckley County be the first AA Public school since East Jackson under Coach Bob Roller in 2009 to place 2nd or win a title?
