Jean Charles Panther Classic (All-Comers Meet)

Meet Information: First, we would like to honor and remember one of our fallen stars, Jean Charles.  The purpose of this meet is to give all of your athletes an opportunity to compete early in the season.  This meet will be capped at 25 teams.  Teams will be allowed 6 entries in the 100m, 200m, and 800m.  All other running events will be limited to 3 entries.  There will be a limit of 3 entries in all field events (except for 2 entries in the pole vault).  Each school will be allowed to enter a max of 2 teams in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays and 1 team in the 4x200m and 4x800m relays.

ENTRY FEE: $300 per school ($200 per individual team)

ENTRIES PER EVENT: Each school is allowed 6 entries in the 100m, 200m, and 800m.  All other running events will be limited to 3 entries.  Teams will be allowed 3 entries in all field events (2 entries in the pole vault), 2 entries for the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, and 1 entry in the 4x200m and 4x800m relays.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, February 24, 2027 at 11:00pm.  There will be no meet day entry changes!!!

TIMING/RESULTS: 
AWARDS: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all events.

FACILITY: We will be running on a BRAND-NEW 8 lane all-weather track surface with 2 Long/Triple Jump runways and pits. The Shot Put and Discus circles are brushed concrete.

WARM-UP AREA: Limited warm-ups will be allowed on the infield in the roped off area.

FIELD EVENTS: Each contestant will be allowed 3 attempts in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Discus, and Shot Put. All legal first attempts will be measured. Throws and Jumps will not be measured after the first attempt if the performance is not beyond the minimum measurement mark.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: There will be a $8 admission fee. Concessions and restroom facilities will be available as well.

Girl's Triple Jump (30'), Girl's Discus (90'), Girl's Pole Vault, Boy's Long Jump (19'), Boy's High Jump (5' starting height), Boy's Shot Put (40')
9:30am - Girls 3200m
10:00am  - HONORING OF JEAN CHARLES (Mid-Field)
10:15am - Session 2 Field Events: Girl's Long Jump (16'), Girl's High Jump (4' starting height), Girl's Shot Put (30'), 
Boy's Pole Vault, Boy's Triple Jump (38'), Boy's Discus (110')
11:15am - Running Events (Rolling Schedule, Girls followed by Boys)
