For the last 33 years, Ridge Ferry Park has hosted the Ridge Ferry Cross Country meet. With all the growth and progress in the city of Rome, we're moving the venue this year to the Georgia Highlands College campus in ROME, GEORGIA.

Course Description

We'll be running on the updated 5K course at GHC, which winds across the soccer field and around Paris Lake.

It's a flat, fast layout over grass and gravel.

Paris Lake sits behind the academic buildings and library; The 55-acre lake area doubles as a public hiking, running, and biking spot outside of events.

• Surfaces: Grass, running gravel, dirt roads, forest tracks, short paved connectors
• Amenities: Covered pavilion with accessible restrooms near parking; gazebo closer to campus

Entry Limits & Sanctioning

• Up to 10 runners per varsity team (extras may compete in the JV race)
• Open to all GHSA schools

Entry Fees

• High School Teams: $200 per school or $125 per single gender program (Boys or Girls team only)
• Middle School Teams: $150 per school or $100 per single gender program (Boys or Girls team only)
• Individual Athletes: $20 each

Fees cover medals, police detail, restrooms, and timing.

Entry Deadline: All rosters and individual entries must be submitted on MileSplit by Thursday, August 20 at 11:00 pm.

• Admission: $5 per person
• Parking & Entry: Use the Cedartown Hwy entrance
• Tickets also available via GoFan
