The course has a wide cone start and is cut at least 30 feet wide for the first mile. Course is generally rolling with its unique feature the option of crossing a narrow foot bridge or staying on an open road at the 2000 meter mark. Finish line is in an open pasture and is scaffolded.
Split Clocks will be at Mile 1,2 markers along with a large Finish Line Clock. Results will be posted 30 minutes after each race
THe Calvin Center can house teams Friday night and offer adventure training after the race on Saturday.
Teams allowed to run 10 runners in varsity races to help coachess sort out their top 7. Field will have a maximum of 30 teams.
Costs are as follows:
Varsity Boys and Girls $130.
Varsity Boys or Varsity Girls only $75
JV Boys and JV Girls $65
JV Boys only or JV Girls only $50
Max for all races is $130.
Team trophies for first 3 schools in Boys and Girls Varsity. Dri-fit award shirts to first 15 in varsity races. Ribbons for first 15 in JV races.
Changes from last year include: parking closer to start and finish; later start time (by 30 minutes); and stone dust added to parts of the course.
