The ATLANTA CLASSIC, held at beautiful Clinton Nature Preserve, is a great course for seasoned runners and for new cross country athletes to experience a true 5k length race through the woods!  The High School races will be 5 km. The Middle School race is a true 2 Mile Race!!  The 5 km course consists of two loops.  The M.S. 2 mile course is one small loop and one big loop.  There are no asphalt or concrete road crossings! Racing spikes are entirely appropriate.  The surface is mostly grass fields and dirt trails, with some sandy spots, and a short section of hard packed gravel road/trail.  **NEW THIS YEAR -- No more shoe chips!  We will use Bib Chips at our races from now on.   :)
