2025 GAPPS State Track and Field Championship Meet
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
Location: Fayette County High School (1 Tiger Trail, Fayetteville, GA 30214)
Registration has been extended to allow athletes to fill vacant spots from withdrawals. Registration will now close at noon, April 23rd

Meet Regulations:
100/110m Hurdles (33" girls, 39" boys)
300m Hurdles (30" girls, 36" boys)
Discus (1k girls, 1.6kg boys)
Shot Put (4kg girls, 12lbs boys)
Starting High Jump height for girls 4'0 / for boys 4'6
Starting Pole vault girls 6'0 / for boys 8'0
Heats/Trials:
All heats will be run as a final against the clock, with no prelims for this event.
Athletes will have 3 initial attempts in the long jump, triple jump, shot put, and discus. Then the top 8 will be reseeded and get an additional 3 final attempts.
At the high jump and pole vault events, each participant will be allowed up to three (3) attempts at each designated height.
Scoring:
The top eight places in individual and relay events will be scored at this meet: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Awards:
Teams scoring the most points overall in all combined events will be recognized as the team champion, receiving a 1st place trophy. Separate Boys & Girls.
Teams who finish in 2nd place will receive a runner-up trophy. Separate Boys & Girls.
Athletes who finish in the top 8 in all individual & relay events will each be presented a medal immediately following the conclusion of the event.
The top Individual Male and Female- scoring the most points for their team will be awarded the High Point Award.
Gate Fee for Spectators:
$10 for Adults, $7 for Students/Seniors, Kids 5 and Under Free
