The 10th Annual Metro Atlanta Track and Field Championship

Entry Fees for the Metro Championship:

One Team (Boys or Girls): $150

Saturday Schedule (March 22nd)

8:30AM Coaches Meeting

9:00AM Pole Vault (Boys followed by Girls)

ALL RUNNING EVENTS ARE GIRLS FOLLOWED BY BOYS

9:00AM 3200 Meter Run Final (4 entries per school - 3 can score)

JV Girls 1600 Meter Run (3 entries per school - No awards or points)

JV Boys 1600 Meter Run (3 entries per school - No awards or points)

As soon as the 3200 is complete there will be one heat of JV girls and one heat of JV boys 1600

10:15 AM: Running Prelims Start (Girls followed by Boys) 3 Entries per School.. 8 teams/athletes will make the finals on Monday.  Heat winners of each heat then the next fastest times will make the finals. All events will have 1st, 2nd and Final calls. Track events will be on a rolling schedule.

NOTE: No Prelims on Saturday for the 1600 meters, 800 meters, 4x200 and 4x400 Relays - Monday will all be Finals based on Time.

12:30 PM FIELD EVENTS BEGIN

(All Field Events Allow 3 Entries) Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus will get 3 Attempts with no finals (Top 8 places score points).

Boys Shot Put  &  Girls Discus - then flip when each finishes

Boys High Jump (5' starting height) followed by Girls High Jump (4'2 starting height)

Girls Long Jump  &  Boys Triple Jump - then flip when each finishes

Monday Schedule (March 24th)

Remember for both days the meet is at Pace Athletic Complex which is off campus at 5700 Riverview Rd. Mableton, GA

Award Ceremony - Team Champion and Team Runner-up trophies to Girls and Boys winners
