Cobb County Championships 2024

2024 COBB COUNTY TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS 


MARCH 23rd & 25th 

McEachern High School

Facility 8 lane track. Timing will be FAT. Concessions and meet t shirts will be sold. Meet admission is $6 on GO Fan. Coaches must have their GHSA Coaches pass to enter stadium.

Entry Fee Meet entry fee is $250 per school.

Checks need to be made out to McEachern Booster Club, Attn: Coach Hoskins, 2400 New Macland Rd. Powder Springs Ga 30127 Checks need to be received by 3/22/24.

Entries 3 entries per event and 1 entry per relay event. Entries will be completed on ga.milsplit.

(All 9th or 10th graders that compete in an individual event in the Varsity County Meet are ineligible to compete at the JV County Meet in mid-April)

Awards TROPHIES: Top 2 Girls Teams & Top 2 Boys Teams.

MEDALS: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place

Scoring Individual and relay: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Field Events Long & Triple Jump:

3 jumps per athlete, top 9 athletes qualify to finals for 3 additional jumps.

Shot Put & Discus:

3 throws per athlete, top 9 athletes qualify to finals for 3 additional throws.

Prelims Heat winners automatically qualify to finals, next best times will fill out the remaining spots w less than 7 heats.  The Boys 100M and 200M will be seed versus times since there is 7 heats. 

Rules All GHSA and NFHS rules will be enforce. We will have a jury of appeals to resolve any disputes. Undergarment and uniform rules will be enforced.
