Meet Information

    Welcome to the 2nd Annual Big Play Slay Invitational hosted by Brunswick High School. This meet will be held at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia. The address to the school is 3885 Altama Avenue,  Brunswick, GA 31520. This year, we are happy to announce that we will be having The Perfect Timing Group time and give live FAT results during the meet. We will have Championship Trophies for the winning teams as well as medals for first, second and third finishers. With these new additions to our meet, we have to charge a small fee to offset some of the costs. The entry fee for each school that brings both girls and boys team will be $100 and  $50 for schools that just brings a girls' team or boys' team. Individuals competing from school will be $20 per individual.

     Our goal is to stick to the meet schedule as listed below. We are asking 3 athletes max per event. You may place up to 1 relays for 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800. MEET NOTES:

1. ATHLETES IN RUNNING EVENTS WILL REPORT TO THE CLERK OF COURSE ON FIRST CALL

2. ATHLETES IN FIELD EVENTS SHOULD REPORT TO THE EVENT AREA ON FIRST CALL.

3. RUNNING EVENTS TAKE PRECEDENT OVER FIELD EVENTS.

4. ATHLETES WILL BE PLACED IN HEATS AT THE CLERK OF COURSE ACCORDING TO TIMES SUBMITTED. SLOWER TIMES WILL RUN IN THE FIRST HEATS.

5. ATHLETES IN RUNNING EVENTS NEED TO REMAIN ON THE TRACK AT THE END OF THEIR RACE UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO LEAVE.

6. MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE FIRST THREE PLACES AND CAN BE PICKED UP THE SAME DAY

7. RESULTS WILL BE LIVE ON MILESPLIT

8. ALL ATHLETES SHOULD USE THE PRACTICE IN THE FOOTBALL FIELD BEHIND THE SCOREBOARD TO WARM-UP AND STRETCH.

9. TEAM TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND PLACES ACCORDING TO TEAM SCORING

10. SCORING WILL BE 10 - 8 - 6 - 5 - 4- 3 - 2 - 1 FOR ALL EVENTS.

11. ALL FIELD EVENT ATHLETES WILL BE GIVEN THREE ATTEMPTS.

12. EACH SCHOOL MAY ENTER A MAXIMUM OF FOUR (3) COMPETITORS PER INDIVIDUAL EVENT. EACH SCHOOL CAN ENTER 1 (1) RELAY TEAM PER RELAY EVENT.

13. AN INDIVIDUAL CAN ENTER A MAXIMUM OF FOUR ( 4 ) EVENTS. 

14. ALL ENTRIES SUBMITTED MUST MEET GHSA ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.

15. ALL TIMES SUBMITTED FOR RUNNING EVENTS SHOULD BE FOR METERS AND SHOULD BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE SO LANE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE FAIR.

16. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED On-line BY MARCH 27, 2024 and 11:00pm.

17.NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE THE DAY OF THE MEET ONLY SCRATCHES.

18. ENTRY FEE IS $100.00 FOR BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS TEAMS OR $50.00 FOR ONE TEAM.

19. COACHES WILL HAVE TO WORK 1 FIELD EVENT.
