Gwinnett Country Track & Field Championships

Saturday, March 23 & Monday, March 25, 2024

Meet Admission: Admission cost is $7 per day. Tickets need to be purchased on GoFan. The ticket gate will be cashless. Coaches must have their GHSA Coaches pass to enter stadium.

Entry Fee: 

• $200 per team (includes JV meet), make checks payable to: Archer High School Track & Field Booster Club

• Entry fee can be brought to the meet or mailed. Due before packet pick up.

Entries:

• 3 per individual event/gender
• 1 relay per event/gender
• Deadline to enter entries is Tuesday, March 19th @ 11 pm.
• Athletes entered in the Varsity meet CANNOT compete in the JV meet
• All performances should be verified FAT
• Any time/mark not verified will be seeded as NT/NM

Event Information:

• Weigh-ins will be near the Field House  beginning at 8:00 AM 
• Athletes report to the staging area (start of event) for their event (see stadium map).
• For relays, please do not use chalk! This is your warning!
• All GHSA and NFHS rules and guidelines will be followed.
• Scoring- Individual and relay: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
• 1/4 inch pyramid spikes or shorter are to be used on the track.
• No electronic devices allowed in the check-in or competitive area.

Awards: 

• Team Trophies: Top 3 girl teams & top 3 boy teams.
• Individuals/Relays Medals: Top 8 will receive a medal- 1st, 2nd & 3rd place individuals/ relays will receive their medals on the podium in the in-field after the conclusion of each event; 4th-8th place medals will be placed in their coaches' packets to pick up after the meet. Medals will not be mailed. Coaches, once we receive the results, we will call up the top 3 to the podium.

Facility: 8 lane track, Timing will be FAT.

Concession/T-Shirts: Meet t-shirts will be sold for $25 short sleeve, $30 long sleeve, & $40 for hoodies. Concessions will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Parking/ Team Drop Off: Busses should drop off at the stadium and then park in appropriate spaces. Spectators needs to park in the appropriate parking spots on campus. See parking map.

Tents: Tents are to be set up in the visitor stands/practice field/outside the fence to the track along the sides. No tents on the home side. See team seating map.

Athlete Check In: The check in area will be set up on the plaza level of the home stands, directly above from the finish line.

Infield: The infield will be closed to all athletes and coaches. All warm-ups need to take place on the practice field.

Rules: All GHSA and NFHS rules will be enforced. We will have a Games Committee to resolve any disputes.

Hospitality: Breakfast and lunch will be served in the hospitality room inside the Field House. Coaches will receive a wristband in their packets. Athletes are not allowed in the building. This is also where the coach's meeting will take place.
